Melody Magic Music Studio is a local woman-owned business founded by Richmond native Katherine Knight. Katherine began Melody Magic over 20 years ago to bring together her greatest loves - children and music. She is dedicated to using the power of music to develop creative, inspired, confident children in a family friendly environment where everyone is welcome!

All of the magic began with a much-loved program called Kindermusik. Kindermusik is like a magical journey into the world of music tailored just for little ones and their grown-ups. It's a delightful blend of instrument play, movement, and melody designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection in the hearts of children and parents alike. From bouncing babies to toddling toddlers, Kindermusik offers age-appropriate classes that cater to every stage of early childhood development. But Kindermusik is more than just music—it's a nurturing environment where families come together to bond and grow. Parents get to share precious moments with their little ones, strengthening their relationship through the universal language of melody and rhythm.

The music programs at Melody Magic grow along with the children. Starting at age 4, children delight in the social element of group piano classes. In these classes, budding musicians not only learn how to play the piano but also develop teamwork skills, make new friends, and build confidence in expressing themselves through melodies.
