Walk Club is a free community walk that brings moms together to connect and move their bodies - one step at a time. Walking supports your physical and mental well-being, and meets you exactly where you are in your motherhood journey. Always stroller-friendly; our walks are open to pregnant moms and moms at every stage of motherhood…because one walk can turn into a friendship, a routine, and a whole village. (p.s. We typically walk for about 30 minutes and then hang out after!)

Gear up, team! Trade jerseys for sneakers and tackle motherhood like elite athletes. Throw on your favorite team gear and Join Instructor Kathryn for some sports-inspired drills, keeping the kiddos entertained with game-day chants, interactive songs, and plenty of high-fives from the stroller. Enjoy this engaging workout followed by an interactive playgroup. After class join us for a bag full of almost every kind of sports ball. Kids can throw, kick, roll, and score a goal!

Step up to the plate, team! Grab your baseball caps for a morning of grand-slam fun after class at our Little Sluggers Playgroup. This activity is ideal for steady walkers, but crawling babies will love hanging out in our "outfield" to explore the grass textures safely. Every single child on the roster will get a turn to try hitting the ball and running the bases!

• 3:30 PM: Kickoff at Bruster’s

  We’ll meet at the Bruster’s Real Ice Cream on Staples Mill Rd to fuel up with a fresh scoop before the fun begins. (can't join us beforehand? no problem, you can always grab some after the playtime!)

• 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Playtime at Wild Ones

  Just across the parking lot, at 9131 Staples Mill Rd, we’ll head into the Play Cafe for two hours of exploration.

What to Expect

• Active Play: The space features a gym with climbing walls and balance equipment for bigger kids (ages 5–10) and dedicated imaginative play areas for younger ones.
• For the Parents: While the kids burn off energy, parents can relax in the cafe area, which offers locally brewed craft coffee and snacks.
• Inclusive Environment: The facility includes Bub’s Quiet Corner, a sensory-friendly space for kids who need a calm break.

In this summer fruit-themed sensory activity, kids will explore the transforming solid and liquid properties of oobleck. We'll be infusing our oobleck batches with fruit-inspired colors and textures. Please bring clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy!

After class, we will draw ice cream cones, popsicles, and other frozen treats on the sidewalk with chalk. Once the artwork is finished, we’ll use spray bottles, cups, or buckets to pour water over the drawings and watch the "ice cream" melt away. This playgroup may even end with a real frozen treat for the kiddos.

While moms catch their breath, chat, and cool down, the kiddos will get to test out a massive fleet of monster trucks of all shapes and sizes. It is the ultimate active play session to cap off your summer adventures!

Join us on Sunday, August 23 for a casual Open House. We'll kick things off with a short, all-paces welcome run at 7:15 AM, starting at Biscuits & Waffles, then gather for breakfast around 8:00 AM to chat all things Run Club.

Whether you come for the run, breakfast, or both, it's the perfect opportunity to meet our coach, connect with other runners, learn more about the program, and get all your questions answered. Join us this week as we celebrate back to school with this morning packed with wheels, tunes, and creative play! We are exploring school buses through a variety of hands-on activities tailored for every developmental stage.

• For the Little Creators: We will build fine motor skills by crafting our very own paper plate buses with paint and/or tissue paper!
• For the Tiny Explorers: Not quite ready for scissors and glue? No problem! We will have a dedicated sensory play area packed with a variety of fun, chunky bus toys to roll and explore.
