Motivational Mom of the Month: Windsor Lineback

Hey Mamas,

If you've been to Stroller Strides lately, chances are you've met the awesome Windsor Lineback and her adorable blondie, Hillan! She just welcomed the equally gorgeous Windsor Kate at the end of June, and somehow she's already managing to get out of the house with both of them, looking fantastic! I loved learning more about her and finding out how she's been handling motherhood times two.

How did you find FIT4MOM Richmond and how long have you been a part of our village?

I heard of Fit4MOM living in North Carolina. We moved to Richmond when my son was 4 weeks old (I know we’re crazy) and saw that Richmond had a franchise. I’ve been a part of the village for 2 years now.

What is your role at FIT4MOM?

I am the Client Resource Manager. My job is to reach out to new and potential clients and help them in anyway I can!

What do you love most about being part of this community?

The friendships and being able to learn from other moms. The summer I joined, there were a few other moms who had boys the same age as Hillan. It was so nice to be able to relate to them and not feel alone on this journey.

Who are you a mom to?

HIllan and Windsor Kate. Hillan turned 2 in April and is the sweetest little boy (when he wants to be) and is obsessed with all things trucks. Windsor Kate was born June 21 and is the sweetest baby!

What were you like in high school?

Hmmm I was very social :) I loved going to all of the sporting events and participating in class events.

Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or one hundred duck-sized horses?

Both sound terrifying but I guess I’d choose one horse-sized duck. I have a feeling HIllan could help distract it with all of the goldfish he drops.

What gets you out of bed every day?

I have a toddler and a newborn. I’m lucky if I make it in the bed ha!

Who in your life is your biggest fitness or just basic life inspiration?

I wouldn’t say I have a fitness inspiration but life inspiration would be my Grandma, who passed 2 years ago. I’ve always looked up to her for many reasons. She was so selfless and always put God first and loved her wine.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

My Grandma always told me to have a bottle of champagne in your fridge because you never know when you will need to celebrate.

How do you stay fit when you’re not working out with FIT4MOM?

I love going on walks around the neighborhood. Even though half of them end up at Stella’s buying some sort of sweet treat.

How do you practice self-care?

Stroller Strides really has been my “me” time. I also try and nap when the kids are sleeping if it was a long night.

Where did you grow up and how did you end up in Richmond?

I was born and raised in Richmond but moved to North Carolina for college. After spending 12 years there, my husband took a job in Richmond and we moved back 2 years ago.

What is something you’ve done that you're really proud of?

Being a mom has definitely been my biggest accomplishment.

How did becoming a mother change you?

It gave me a whole new outlook on life and what’s truly important.

You’re a new mother of two: What is your favorite thing so far about having two kids and what has been the hardest thing?

My favorite thing is seeing Hillan around Windsor Kate and how proud he is of her. Also, seeing my husband with a daughter. It melts my heart. Oh, and ALL the bows!

The first 2 weeks were definitely an adjustment for all of us. The lack of sleep combined with a toddler that’s ready to go at 6am can make for a long day.

Which celebrity, dead or alive, would you love to have coffee with?

Oprah. Maybe she’d give me a free car?

What is the last great book or television series you’ve read/watched?

This is Us and anything on Bravo.

How did you meet your husband? Tell me about your first date.

This needs to be told over wine ;) Short story: We met in Raleigh through mutual friends and ended up going on a date a week later to a local restaurant.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a teacher and mom since I can remember.

If your five-year-old self suddenly found themselves inhabiting your current body, what would she do first?

She’d dress Windsor Kate up in every dress/bow she owns and push her around in her stroller, all while eating double stuffed Oreos and watching RugRats.

It was great getting to know you better, Windsor! We're so lucky to have you as our wonderful Client Resource Manager! With so many FIT4MAMAS pregnant with #2 right now, it's great to have someone who is going through it and can offer advice and support! BTW, I think we can all agree that we would love to have partied with your grandma!

Happy August, Ladies!
