Owner & Instructor, FIT4MOM Richmond
Certified Stroller Strides®, Fit4Baby® & Body Back® Instructor. Ballet and Fitness Instructor
I am thrilled to be the newest owner of FIT4MOM Richmond! As a former professional ballet dancer I lived abroad in the UK for 12 years and travelled much of the world performing. After getting married and having our son, Charlie, we decided to make the move back to the USA to start our adventure here in Richmond, VA. As a mother and as a fitness professional I have a strong passion for everything FIT4MOM stands for! I love bringing moms together in a safe, positive and happy environment and helping them achieve their personal goals while enjoying the company of other moms and bonding with their little ones.
If I’m not teaching a FIT4MOM Richmond class you can find me teaching ballet, doing all things “mom” related, binge watching Netflix with my husband or exploring our beautiful city!
Hi, I’m Julia and I’m mother to Eva and Tommy. Born over-seas to a German mother and American Air Force father, Richmond has been the most recent home [to me] since 2003. Graduation from VCU in 2006 yielded a BA in Foreign Languages (German) and minor in Religious Studies (Eastern) and I recently became certified in the practice of Reiki.
FIT4MOM Richmond has been a constant in my life since joining Stroller Strides in October of 2015 and adding Body Back to the mix during the summer of 2016.
I’m excited to be the new FIT4MOM Richmond Event Coordinator. I’ve been given the opportunity to share some of the arts and crafts that I enjoy by planning and organizing Our Village playdates, crafts and after class activities, as well as helping manage our monthly Moms Night Outs and assisting Natalie in reaching out into the Richmond community and helping to fulfill FIT4MOM Richmond’s mission in reaching more moms! I hope to give back and pay forward as much as I've been given.
Interests include German literature, Buddhism, yoga, Reiki, animal and environmental welfare and appreciation, art, yoga, and of course getting buff with Stroller Strides and Body Back!
Certified Stroller Strides® and Fit4Baby® Instructor
My name is Kate Brady, and I'm mom to Ella (born September 2016). I grew up dancing and found my passion for fitness and nutrition in college. When I moved to Richmond, I discovered barre, fell in love, and became a barre fitness instructor. After having Ella, I was looking for a way to not only get in my workouts, but also get back to teaching without having to pay for babysitting. I found Stroller Strides when Ella was 9 weeks old and immediately knew it was the perfect activity for us. I am excited to give moms a great workout while bringing them into this amazing, supportive community that Fit4Mom offers.
When I'm not teaching, you can find me walking in my neighborhood, cooking delicious, fresh meals in my kitchen, doing activities on our neighborhood lake, or at the beach in the summer!
My name is Mary Beth Scott and I’m a mother to Georgie. I am a former certified public accountant, but now love spending most of my time with Baby G! When in addition to taking care of Georgie, you will find me running, playing tennis, doing barre classes, and spending as much time outside as possible! I have always been passionate about fitness, as it is so important for leading a healthy and happy life! I look forward to spreading my passion to all the moms in my classes!more
Hi I’m Nicole and I am mom to Cameron who is now 5 months old! I am an Account Recruiting Manager for Aerotek who loves family, fitness and trying new brunch spots throughout Richmond.
Until Cameron came along my days were spent with work, working out, more work, taking Roscoe (our 5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer) for runs, and did I mention work? I knew I was going to need to find new balance for my life when we got pregnant and was so excited to find the mom community of Stroller Strides during my maternity leave. Here I was able to connect with an amazing group of moms and was welcomed with open arms (literally hugged by Natalie!)at my first class. I learned so much about motherhood from these moms and was relieved to find a fun atmosphere where I could get my sweat on while spending time with Cameron.
I was so sad to leave these women when I went back to work, but was thrilled when Natalie agreed to let me join the team as an instructor for Saturday classes! I am so excited to be able to share my passion for fitness, family and work-life balance with other mommas in the Richmond area and to be able to give back to the FIT4MOM family (all with Cameron by my side!).
